Fun With Family

Brooklyn and her cousin (Tracker) ended up having a great time playing. They especially enjoyed stealing one another's pacifiers. The poor dog heard us saying several times to the babies, "be nice to the dog".

Utah and Idaho Trip

We took off on a two week trip to Utah and Idaho before Drew started school. We visited Drew's sister Heidi (1st pic) and her family. Amber (2nd pic) was a great help with Brooklyn and loved playing with her. As you can see Brooklyn loves eating "real food" now. The last pic is of the outfit that Grandma Bush bought for Brooklyn. She is our cute little bunny!!!

Family Reunion 2008

We made it back alive! We went to a campground near Bryce Canyon in Utah for our Brazier Reunion. It was an excellent adventure for the family. We weren't able to get in the lake because of leaches but we sure did enjoy time with family! On Sunday we found out there was a branch (small LDS church) for travelers nearby. So, a lot of us went and participated in church in shorts and t-shirt (the kids loved it)! As you can see in the above pictures little Brooklyn was happy outdoors. She also enjoyed all of her family members, Uncle Ben is the one in the hat holding her. Brooklyn is taking her first crawls right now and loves to pull her self up to stand. She is an inquisitive girl and loves to smile. We sure do love her! She has made our marriage even stronger.

Swim Day With Hendricks

Shayna's long lost cousin (Cameron) lives here in Colorado, about 15 minutes from our place. We have loved spending time with him and his wife (Jen) and their kids. This is one fun family and they treat us great!!! The first picture is of Shayna, Brooklyn, Amy and Drew. Amy plays alot with Brooklyn and teaches her all of the tricks. The second pic is with Brooklyn and Jane. Jane is such a great girl and we hope she can teach Brookie to be so kind. The third pic is of Amy, Drew, and Claire. Claire is the social butterfly and very smart. The fourth pic is Jen and Owen. Owen is hillarious and has a great army crawl. The last pic is little Brookie after some time at the pool. What would a blog post be without a picture of Brooklyn sleeping? We are loving it here!!!

Red Rock Hike 2

As you can see Brookie wore herself out on the hike! The couple in the picture is T.J. and Megan, We think she is a real trooper as she is due in September (It's a girl!!!!). Brooklyn was so cute that we had some Tourist from Japan ask if they could take her picture ( We only charged $20) :) Hahaha! Shayna had to take three tylenol this morning because her legs are not aclimated to the Colorado hikes yet! Haha!

Red Rock Hike

So... we went to the Red Rock Amphitheatre right outside Denver on Saturday and had a blast!We went some friends from the ward (T.J. and Megan) and had a picnic and then went on some hikes. If you come our way this is a must see view of the city!

Graduation and The Rockies

Drew graduated on May 3! His parents and brother Nate went up with us to the graduation. Brooklyn enjoyed meeting her Unlce Nate and did very well with him.

We went to our first Rockies game and it was a BLAST!!!! Not looking like they will make it to the World Series this year, but there is hope. They beat the Twin 3-2! Brooklyn was great and even slept through some loud cheering!

Brooklyn Swimming and Freezing

Brooklyn's first time swimming... She did great but the water was 72 degrees!!! Her Grandma Bush bought her that really cute siwmsuit!

She started eating Rice Cereal a couple weeks ago and that has been exciting (specifically her diaper changes)! She loves it!

The week that we have been here in Denver has been in the 40's and 50's, so when we take her out we have to bundle her and she enjoys it!!!

Made it to Denver

So, there is our new home (well, apartment)! We moved to Denver,CO last week. We had planned to leave on Friday morning, however, Thursday night we were just too excited so we took off!!! We drove our car and Grammy and Grandpa Brazier had the U-Haul hooked to their truck. We drove 5 hours the first night and then 10 hours the second day, not bad for what is supposed to be a 9 hour trip!!! Brooklyn did great and slept pretty much the whole time, that is until we found ourselves lost and on a detour for about an hour when we arrived to Denver and she had enough and told us all about it! We went to our new ward on Sunday and it seems to be a great ward and we are excited to be apart of it. If you are looking to ski this winter let us know and we can take you and you can pay (for us too)! :)

Brooklyn Rolls Over

The first picture (top to bottom) is Brooklyn and Mommy taking a little nap. The next one is with her cute bow. She is doing great with holding her head up. The pic below that has her rolling over and she is starting to move around, watch out. The pic with the binkie hanging out is classic, when she sleeps she enjoys it. We figure we need to start teaching her some working skills, she enjoys mowing.

We took our Spring Break trip up to Heidi and Josh's, to Idaho and back down by way of Uncle James. While in Idaho we took some family pics and these are just a couple. We will have more coming soon!!! Brooklyn has this entertaining fixation of having her hands together and near her face or putting herself in a choke hold!

Brooklyn Dead Asleep

She is still alive!!!! Little Brooklyn has had a cold for a few days now :( That has been the toughest time as parents. Baby coughs and starts to cry, mom cries and dad joins in!!!! Fun times! She enjoys her sleep, even when sick!!!!

Sleepy Time

Brooklyn works very hard during the day and needs a great sleep. She slepeing 7 - 8 hours at night! She is a perfect babe! The socks on the hands are needed as she still scratches herself when sleeping!

Zions Trip

We took a trip up to Zions National Park with Grammie and Grandpa Brazier. You really should try not to die until you have made it to this park! They even have great food!

Our First Home

The Cottage! This is our first home. We live on 8 acres of land. We are professional squatters. Actually, we are watching the land for a couple that is on their mission in Africa. Their house is not seen in the picture.
