we still love you OU

Holy Ginormo screne batman! We got to go to the BYU/OU game in Dallas and it was.....amazing!!!
It was so exciting to be there! There were 79,600 some odd people there and everyone, regardless of their teams, was sooooo excited.

go OU daddy!!!

welcome to the Great and Spacious stadium, or as I like to call it, the gigantron!!!!

If you look closely, I have a beet red face. Why you ask? Because Dallas is the hottest city in the world! Well....ok, maybe not, but we parked a ways a way to save some dough, and it felt like hiking in a sauna! very very sweaty!

we still love you OU and we are proud of you too BYU!!! As Brookie likes to say.....GO GUYS!

more OK

This was soooooo sad. This is the memorial for the OKC bombing. This is a statue of Christ crying while he turns from the bombing site. The inscription on it says, "and Jesus wept". It's true, I am sure that he did weep when this happened.

This is the memorial. In the distance you can see the chairs, one for each person killed. The sadest part is the little chairs that represent the children that died.
This is called the survivor tree, it survived the blast somehow, it still seems impossible to me.

This is a pic of Drewbies friends, we had a great time with them all.

Brookie enjoying the party!

okie

Ok, so this is going to sound ignorant, but I was shocked when we got to OK and it was beautiful! I had always imagined Oklahoma as the dreary world that you read about when you do the unit on the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl and all of those sad dusty Grapes of Wrath type images.BUT.... lo and behold, it's beautiful!
This is a lake that Drew's friends took us fishing at.

Navid caught the only fish.

Brookie and Daddy fishing.

Brookie took a liking to Chase, Drew;s friend who let us stay at his house

Our transportation.

OOOOOOKLAHOMA WHERE THE.....

Alright, I am the coolest wife! ever! I surprised Drew with a trip to OOOOklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plains, lalala. And yes, I sang that song probably 43 timesduring the trip. We left Tuesday night and drove to Amarillo (7 hour drive) then drove on to Oklahoma City (4 hour drive) the next day. We spent Wed, Thurs, Fri, there and then drove to Dallas (3 hour drive) for the OU/BYU game. Then woke up Sunday and drove to Amarillo (6 hour drive) then drove home on MOnday (7 hours), and the amazing thing is that we all survived, including the kid!
Here is the infamous stadium....the almighty OU stadium!
Happy Fam

Some pics for the grandparents. T bum has grown like a weed!
I know that I am biased, but holy cow I have adorable kids!!!!
This pic is to prove that yes I do Brookies hair, she just usually doesn't keep it in long enough for anyone to see.

Another proof of the hair doing.

This is a random pic of Drew and his advisor and classmate. They presented at the APA conference in Toronto this year! Way to go baby!
