Sledding

I know I say this a lot but I love this little girl. We took these fotos a while ago, but I just got them from my friend. We took Brookie last year but this year she really got into it.

Dad and Brookie

I really did have a ton of fun!

The fam minus T, he was in his carseat on the sidewalk! Maybe next year T!

halloween and more

Happy Belated Halloween! These aremy cousins and their kids. T was a frog. Brookie was a bunny. Drew was Frankenstein and I was a college graduate, which by the way is only funny cause I haven't graduated yet. As for my cousins kids we have a witch, a trash can,a bunny, and Spider Man!
My sweet little boy

November 2009

So this pic may be a little bit risk-ay, but we are still potty training Brook. I tried to get a modest pic without ruining the moment. T-bum was getting a little fussy and Brookie just sat down and starting reading to him. It was so cute. I had a friend once tell me that the joy of Motherhood comes in moments, not whole days or whole weeks, but moments. I agree. I was just happy to capture one of my moments.

The aftermath of Halloween meant that we had lots of candy, and Brookie knew it too!

I took Brook to the dentist for the first time. She did better than I thought she would. The dentist asked her if he could look at her teeth and she said, "nope" and then shut her lips tight. I finally convinced her to open up by offering a new tooth brush! She agreed.

This was another moment. Please ignore the blue slotch of T's face. I was trying to get rid of the red eye and this showed up and because I am so computer savvy, I accidentally pushed the save button and I don't know how to fix it, so oh well.

Hehehe. This made me laugh. Poor T.

I'm dreaming...

I'm dreaming of a white...Halloween!!

family fun in the snow

we bought T's snowsuit large so that it would fit all winter...we might have been a little over-zealous

I love this foto! Brookie cried when we made her come inside. Looks like we live in the perfect place for her.

My little plug for kid-2-kid. I got this cute carseat cover for....$5! And this weekend I was glad that I did.

This was FHE. Brookie wasn't too interested until we lit the pumpkin. Then she thought it was cool. Another funny story is that we were getting everything ready for Halloween and we were at the Family Dollar store. Drew tried on a Frankenstein mask and it really scared Brook. She wouldn't go to him for a while, and I laughed really hard. So in 10 years when she need therapy, you all can remind me why!

fall pics

some random fall fotos
Dad and Bubba just chillin'
My attempt at making one of those 'candid' moments that don't actually ever happen, but would be cute if they did. Anne Geddies watch out!! haha

cutie pie

My dumpster divin' reward! That's right, I was taking the trash out and lo and behold...a baby swing was just sitting there! (we used to have one but it broke). I was overjoyed and the fact that it was covered in snow did not deter me. I took it home and washed it up and ......it works!!!! yeah for the dumpster!11

He is so stinkin cute1

news

So there is not much new stuff with us. Drew has the dreaded swine flu and the kids and I have had colds. Since we are kind of resticted to the house, we decided to potty train Brooklyn. She has actually done surprisingly well. She has had probably 5 accidents in the last week, but so far so good.Granted we have not left the house for more than a trip to the store, and she has yet to go on a big girl potty, but we are encouraged still the same.

We love our chunky T
And so does Brookie

we still love you OU

Holy Ginormo screne batman! We got to go to the BYU/OU game in Dallas and it was.....amazing!!!
It was so exciting to be there! There were 79,600 some odd people there and everyone, regardless of their teams, was sooooo excited.

go OU daddy!!!

welcome to the Great and Spacious stadium, or as I like to call it, the gigantron!!!!

If you look closely, I have a beet red face. Why you ask? Because Dallas is the hottest city in the world! Well....ok, maybe not, but we parked a ways a way to save some dough, and it felt like hiking in a sauna! very very sweaty!

we still love you OU and we are proud of you too BYU!!! As Brookie likes to say.....GO GUYS!

more OK

This was soooooo sad. This is the memorial for the OKC bombing. This is a statue of Christ crying while he turns from the bombing site. The inscription on it says, "and Jesus wept". It's true, I am sure that he did weep when this happened.

This is the memorial. In the distance you can see the chairs, one for each person killed. The sadest part is the little chairs that represent the children that died.
This is called the survivor tree, it survived the blast somehow, it still seems impossible to me.

This is a pic of Drewbies friends, we had a great time with them all.

Brookie enjoying the party!

okie

Ok, so this is going to sound ignorant, but I was shocked when we got to OK and it was beautiful! I had always imagined Oklahoma as the dreary world that you read about when you do the unit on the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl and all of those sad dusty Grapes of Wrath type images.BUT.... lo and behold, it's beautiful!
This is a lake that Drew's friends took us fishing at.

Navid caught the only fish.

Brookie and Daddy fishing.

Brookie took a liking to Chase, Drew;s friend who let us stay at his house

Our transportation.

OOOOOOKLAHOMA WHERE THE.....

Alright, I am the coolest wife! ever! I surprised Drew with a trip to OOOOklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plains, lalala. And yes, I sang that song probably 43 timesduring the trip. We left Tuesday night and drove to Amarillo (7 hour drive) then drove on to Oklahoma City (4 hour drive) the next day. We spent Wed, Thurs, Fri, there and then drove to Dallas (3 hour drive) for the OU/BYU game. Then woke up Sunday and drove to Amarillo (6 hour drive) then drove home on MOnday (7 hours), and the amazing thing is that we all survived, including the kid!
Here is the infamous stadium....the almighty OU stadium!
Happy Fam
This is what T-Ray did

This is what Brookie did

This is what Drew did

random stuff

Some pics for the grandparents. T bum has grown like a weed!
I know that I am biased, but holy cow I have adorable kids!!!!
This pic is to prove that yes I do Brookies hair, she just usually doesn't keep it in long enough for anyone to see.

Another proof of the hair doing.

This is a random pic of Drew and his advisor and classmate. They presented at the APA conference in Toronto this year! Way to go baby!
